Sealed tenders for the following works on lumpsum contract system are invited by the Chief Engineer, T.T. Devasthanams, Tirupati from the eligible Registered Contractors of TTD/ eligible Registered Contractors of Government Departments of State, who have Registered in the category mentioned in the Column No:(12) as per G.O.Ms No: 94 I&CAD (PW:COD) Dept. Govt of A.P Dated:-1-7-2003, or G.O.Ms No:- 132, TR&B (R.I) Dept, Dated: 11-08-1998, G.O.Ms No:178, I&CAD Dated : 27-09-1997, G.O.Ms No: 8 (R&B) Dated: 8-1-2003.or eligible contractors of Central/ Other State Govt., Dept. The successful tenderer should register in T.T.D before entering into agreement if he is not already registered with T.T.D.
Application in writing duly signed by the original contractor along with evidence of their (a) Registration certificate (B) Proof of I.T.Assesment/ Pan card No: and with crossed Demand Draft in favour of the Executive Officer, T.T.D., Tirupati, towards the cost of tender schedules noted under Column No: 6. and along with EMD noted under Column No;4 for each work should be sent to the concerned superintending Engineers of TTD noted under column No.7 for issuing the tender schedules for works Sl No. 1to 4

The EMD shall be paid by way of D.D.or UN conditional Bank Guarentee drawn infavour of the Executive officer, TTD, Tirupati. The E.M.D shall be valid for a period of 6 months. The E.M.D should be enclosed along with the appllication for issuing the tender schdules for works in Sl No. 1 to 4

Tenders in prescribed form of tender schedules supplied by the Department should be sent to the concerned Superintending Engineer of TTD, Tirupati as noted in column no:(7) in sealed covers upto 03.00 p.m. on the dates noted at column (11) against each work and the same will be opened on the dates noted under column (12) at 03.15 PM in the presence of tenderers or their authorised agents by the concerned officer noted under Column No(7).
The tenderer should satisfy the qualification data as per the formula (2AN-B> Estimated contract value) for all the works Sl No. 1 to 4
Tender documents will not be sent by post and they are not transferable. The cost of tender documents will not be refunded under any circumstances.
The successful tenderer has to pay further EMD at 1.5% on the estimated contract value/ TCV which ever is higher by way of D.D /unconditional and irrevokable bank Guarantee at the time of agreement for works Sl No. 1 to 4

(A) Once a Contractor buys a tender schedule he shall not be permitted to return the tender schedule. He should compulserly participate in tendrers. After buying a tender schedule, if a tenderer does not tender for the work. his EMD will be forfieted.(DD or Bank Guarentee or both).
(B) If the tendrer submits his tender as "BLANK/NOT INTERSTED" the same will not be considered and his EMD will be forefieted.
The tenderers are advised to submit the tenders in 3 cover system by proper sealing.
The contractors should produce evidence of satisfactorily completed similar works of value not less than Rupees in Lakhs mentioned under Column No: (8) as a prime contractor in any one financial year during the last five years (2003-2004 to 2007-2008).The cost of completed works of previous years shall be given weightage of 10% per year to bring them to current price level (ie 2008-2009).
The tenderer should also furnish the solvency certificate/ letter of credit facility from any Nationalized/ Scheduled banks for a value as mentioned in column No. 8 along with the tender for works Sl No. 1to 4
All certificates enclosed should be certified by the officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent and counter signed by the officer not below the rank of Superintending Engineer or equivalent, other wise the tender will be rejected.
