SRIMAN VETURI PRABHAKARA SASTRY VANGMAYA PEETAM

        

         Dr. Veturi Anandamoorthy son of Sriman Veturi Prabhakara Sastry has requested the management to take up the works of Sri Prabhakara Sastry by establishing a peetam in his name and to publish the books and research works.

        

         Accordingly, the TTD Board in its Resolution No.269, dt.25.7.2007 has resolved to take up the works of Sri Sastry and attached to S.V. Central Library & Research Centre, TTD Tirupati. It is also decided to conduct the Jayanti and Vardanti of Sri Prabhakara Sastry.

         On 7 th February 2008 , the 120 th Jayanti of Sriman Veturi Prabhakara Sastry was celebrated and unveiling a statue in front of SVETA Building and also released two books of Sri Veturi Prabhakara Sastry

WORKS TO BE TAKEN UP:

         To publish all the works of Sri Prabhakara Sastry. To receive the balance books from Dr. Veturi Ananda Moorthy from Hyderabad .

        

         It is also proposed to attach some more unpublished manuscripts available in S.V. Central Library & Research Centre, TTD Tirupati to the light of public.
