Overview
The Sri Venkateswara
Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), set up by TTD,
is a sophisticated, super-speciality centre, which provides
the most advanced medical technology to the needy.
Apart from offering services, training and education
in medical sciences, it also encourages Research and
Development.
To
bring state-of-the-art medical services to the poor
and needy, SVIMS has introduced the Balaji Arogyavaraprasadini
Scheme.
Privileges
- Donations
to SVIMS (under the Balaji Arogyavaraprasadini Scheme)
are exempt from Income Tax under Clause (ii) of Subsection
(I) of Section 35 (100% exemption)
- Donations
can be made by any individual/ family/ company/ firm,
etc.
- The
names of donors who donate Rs one lakh or more, will
be displayed prominently in the Reception Hall of
the hospital.
- Paid
rooms would be named after donors who contribute a
sum of Rs. 5 lakh or more. By paying Rs. 5 lakh and
above, a donor may sponsor the surgical aid for one
patient.
- An
endowment chair in SVIMS will be named after the donor
who contributes Rs. 10 lakh and above. These endowment
chairs are purely research-oriented.
- For
donors who pay Rs. 15 lakh, apart from the display
of name in the Reception Hall, a unit can be named
after the donor.
- For
donors who pay Rs. 50 lakh, apart from the display
of name in the Reception Hall, a complex can be named
after the donor.
- For
donors who pay Rs. 1crore, apart from the display
of name in the Reception Hall, a block, PG hostel
or operation theatre, nurses' hostel or choultry for
patients' attendants will be named after the donor.
- For
donors who pay Rs. 5 crore and above, apart from the
display of name in the Reception Hall, an auditorium
and library will be named after the donor.
Donors
are also welcome to offer equipment, vehicles, etc.,
to SVIMS or even sponsor health camps in rural areas,
if they so desire.
Additional
facilities for donors who contribute Rs. 5 lakh and
above
- Darshan
during the break will be arranged for the donor and
his family (the total not exceeding five persons)
on three days in a year.
- VIP
accommodation, free of cost, for five persons, three
days in a year
- Dupta
prasadam - 10 small laddus, free of cost,
every year.
