Lord Sri Venkateswara did it
In Sri Venkatachala Mahathyam Lord Brahma
became a cow, Lord Siva became a Calf and Sri Lakshmi became
a Yadava maid and both the cow and calf were sold to Chola
king by Sri Lakshmi in a bid to provide milk to meditating
Srinivasa in Venkatachalam. There also He protected the cow
from the curse of its herdsman.
Overview
The Lord did it, we do it. Sri
Venkateswara Gosamrakshana Trust is established for protecting
the cow and emphasizing the spiritual importance of the cow
apart from its economic aspect.
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams proposes
to create a modern Gosala in T.T.Devasthanams, Tirupati with
all the facilities for maintaining all bovine population.
"The Cow is the greatest blessing
of Human race, lands grow rich, Homes grow and civilization
advances where the Cow is kept and cared for."
The Trust also aims at improving the living
conditions of cows outside Goshala by providing technical
inputs to the general public.
The S.V.Dairy Farm, TTD, Tirupati supplies
Milk and Curd to all the TTD Temples for rituals, prasadams,
Abhishekhams etc., to the service institutions like S.V.Balamandir
(Orphanage), S.sV.Dumb & Deaf School, S.V.Training Centre
for the Physically handicapped, S.V.Poor Home (Leprosy Hospital),
S.V.Vedapatasala, S.V.Oriental College Hostel,TTD Hospitals,
"Annadanam" Scheme of TTD etc.

Gosamrakshana Trust gives an opportunity for the devotees
to participate in GOSAMRAKSHANA with their donations. Donors
who contribute Rupees One Lakh and above will receive the
privileges stated in the different schemes mentioned below.
Donation Amount
All donations are deposited in a Nationalised
Bank, and the interest earned is utilized for the scheme.
Individuals, firms, companies etc. can
make donations, and they are eligible for Income Tax exemption
under Section 80(G) of the Indian Income Tax Act 1961.
Mode of payment
The donation can be made by way of Cheque/
Demand Draft on any scheduled bank drawn in the name of "The
Executive Officer, T.T.Devasthanams, Tirupati" and to
be sent to "The Director, S.V.Dairy Farm, T.T.Devasthanams,

Kamadhenuvu
Donation : Rs.5 Lakhs and above.
Privileges
The following facilities are extended
to donors who contribute Rs.5.00 Lakhs and above.
- The Donor and his family will be provided
free accommodation for 3 days in a year in ARP Counter or
VIP accommodation on payment basis subject to availability.
The Donor can avail this facility for 3 days consecutively
or at 3 different dates in a year.
- The Donor and his family (not exceeding
five) will be admitted for VIP darshan through Cellar in
Vaikuntam 'Q' Complex-I for 3 days in a year. The Donor
can avail this facility 3 days consecutively or at 3 different
dates in a year.
- Ten small laddus will be issued to
the Donor as prasadam once in a year during the visit of
Donor.
- One Dupatta will be presented to the
Donor as bahumanam once in a year during visit of Donor.
- One gold plated silver medallion
with the image of Srivaru and Goddess Padmavathi Devi will
be given at the time of Donor's first visit only.
- These privileges will be extended during
the life time of the Donor and his/her spouse in case of
individuals and for 20 years in case of the companies.
Special privileges
- 10 Sri Vari Mahaprasadam packets -
one time.
- Five litres of Cow's Milk will be supplied
for Swami Vari Ksheerabhishekam in the name of the donor
on one fixed Friday (of their choice).
- Donor's name will be displayed in Sri
Venkateswara Gosamrakshana Shala, TTD, Tirupati.
- Donors will be honoured on one Gokulastami
day during 'Gopooja' celebration in S.V.Dairy Farm, Tirupati
with Dupatta and Blouse (with advanced intimation). They
will be invited on every Gokulastami day to attend for Gopooja.
Ksheerasagaram
Donation : Rs.1 Lakh and below 5
Lakhs.
Privileges
- The Donor and his family (not exceeding
five) will be admitted for darshan through Cellar in Vaikuntam
'Q' Complex-I for one day in a year.
- 10 Sri Vari Mahaprasadam packets -
one time.
- One liter of Cow's Milk will be supplied
for Swami Vari Ksheerabhishekam in the name of the donor
on one fixed Friday (of their choice).
- Donor's name will be displayed in Sri
Venkateswara Gosamrakshana Shala, TTD, Tirupati.
- Donors will be honoured on one Gokulastami
