Ramar
Meda, which means 'the elevated platform for Rama', used
to house the icons of Rama, Sita and Laxmana. These icons
have since been moved to the sanctum.
The images of Vishvaksena and Garuda
are the utsava murthis of their respective
sub-shrines.
