To encourage authors of
spiritual and religious literature, TTD has
introduced two schemes:

Remuneration
for Surrender of Copyrights
If
authors would like to surrender the copyrights of
their works to TTD, they will be paid the following
remuneration.

In
addition, the author will receive fifty complimentary
copies of the book.
If
the author does not want to receive any remuneration,
one-tenth of the total number of printed copies
in the first edition (not exceeding the value of
remuneration he would have received), will be given
to him.
A
Publications Committee constituted by the Board
of Trustees, TTD selects the books for publication.
Aid
to Authors Scheme
The
Aid to Authors Scheme was introduced in 1978 to
help authors who cannot publish their works due
to financial constraints. The upper ceiling of the
financial aid is Rs. 15,000.00
The
author will acknowledge the receipt of financial
aid in the book at a prominent place. In addition,
he will have to submit fifty complimentary copies
of the book to TTD.
A
Committee of Experts in various languages, constituted
by the Board of Trustees, TTD, selects the books
for sanction of financial aid.
